Ojai Studio Artists Tour 2021

The 38th annual self-guided Ojai Studio Artists Tour – one of the premier art events in California – is set for October 9,10 and 11th. This year, our tour will be FREE! You must register to access tour.

One ticket is good for all three days. October 9 from 10 - 5, October 10 from 10 - 5 and October 11 from 10 - 5.

Showcasing a bevy of local painters, sculptors, jewelers, ceramists, a woodworker, digital, glass and fiber artists, the 2021 Studio Tour will be captivating. As in the past three years, many studios will be open on Monday.

Over 60 studios throughout the enchanting Ojai Valley will be open each day from 10am to 5pm, with artist demonstrations at select studios.

The title of our exhibit at the Ojai Valley Museum is Finding Light, a riff on Amanda Gorman’s Inaugural poem, The Hill We Climb. A verse in the poem reads, “Where can we find light in this never-ending shade?” Within that question is the seeking of hopefulness. Light offers multiple vessels of interpretation - enlightenment(as in spiritual), lightness of being, the historical moment of Light & Space, the painterly push/pull of light and shade, light at the end of the tunnel. and of course, turn left at the light. Also of consideration is the opposite posit of light, that of darkness. This exhibit will feature how Ojai Studio Artists processed processed and put into form and expression their interpretation of Finding Light.

Tour tickets are free this year, however registration is required. Two weeks before the tour you will be receiving maps and other up-to-date information.
