OIT Indianapolis | Volunteer together at a community farm!

Join us on April 20th as we help W**d, harvest, and seed community gardens with Growing Places Indy. This is a great opportunity to soak in the spring sun, connect with fellow members of OIT’s Indianapolis chapter, and help further Growing Places’ mission of empowering people to “cultivate individual, family, and community wellness through urban agriculture, access to fresh local food, and mind-body education.” Learn more about Growing Places Indy here.

The event will start with an intro, followed by a couple hours of volunteering with a lunch break in the middle. Please bring your lunch with you.
Children are welcome to join in and help their adults! When registering for the event please just register for the adults attending and note any children helpers in the survey during registration. We need to let Growing Places know ahead of time so they can plan age appropriate activities.
