Oishii - Taste of Japan

Oishii – Taste of Japan is a vibrant celebration of Japanese food, culture and regional diversity in Auckland. The event brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to discover the many flavours and experiences of Japan.

Through food, traditional and contemporary performances, cultural demonstrations, exhibitions and community activities, Oishii shares the stories, creativity and unique character of Japan’s regions. The event aims to strengthen cultural understanding, encourage connections between Japan and New Zealand, and create an inclusive place where communities can meet, participate and celebrate together.
