OISE GSA Picnic & Potluck – In Partnership with OISE Alumni Association

Join us for the OISE GSA Fall Picnic 2025 at Christie Pits Park PICNIC AREA 3!This year, we are excited to celebrate the start of the new academic year with food, games, and community connections.

This potluck-style picnic will bring together current graduate students, alumni, and mentors for a fun afternoon outdoors. Expect a warm atmosphere, great conversations, and the chance to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones.

• 🍱 Potluck-style picnic – Please bring a dish to share and enjoy foods from different cultures (light refreshments also provided). We encourage everyone to bring at least one portion (enough for yourself) so that everyone can enjoy a variety of foods together.
• ⚠️ For the safety of all participants, please do not bring dishes containing peanuts, as some students may have severe allergies.
• 🏷️ To help everyone know what they’re enjoying, please label your dish with your name and the name of the food.
• 🎲 Fun outdoor games & networking opportunities
• 🎁 Lots of free giveaway items (fashion jewelry, cute hair clips, keychains, bookmarks, and more!)
• 🍀 Exciting Lucky Draw with special prizes
• 🤝 Celebrate in partnership with the OISE Alumni Association

We’re inviting students, alumni, and mentors to perform at the OISE GSA Fall Picnic 2025 Talent Show!

Whether it’s singing, dancing, playing an instrument, stand-up comedy, poetry, or any other performance, this is your chance to shine in front of our community in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

🚇 By TTC (Subway/Transit): The closest subway station is Christie Station on Line 2 (Bloor–Danforth line). Once you exit the station, Christie Pits Park is directly across the street (north side of Bloor Street). From there, follow the park signs to Picnic Area 3.

🚶 Walking: If you are nearby, Christie Pits Park is within walking distance from Koreatown (Bloor & Bathurst) and the Annex neighbourhoods. Head towards Christie and Bloor, and the park entrance will be easy to spot.

🚗 Driving/Parking: Limited street parking is available around the park on Crawford Street, Christie Street, and nearby residential streets. Please check the posted signs for parking restrictions. There are also Green P parking lots a short walk away (e.g., at Bloor & Ossington or Bloor & Bathurst).
