Description
Students will learn how to understand and use color effectively. They will explore how colors mix and transform by blending them with their hands and layering different hues. They will also study the color wheel and complementary color relationships while building depth and richness in their artwork.
Pleas bring the following supplies to class:
● Oil pastel (48 colors)
● Mixed media sketch book ( 9” x 12”)
● A few tissues & cotton swabs
About the instructor:
I am an oil pastel artist. Creating rich colors and textures with oil pastels is always exciting and inspiring! When colors blend together, they often create unexpected and beautiful tones that add depth and character to a painting. Oil pastels allow artists to achieve a high level of detail, and the process of working with them is both enjoyable and rewarding.
*The Art Center does not offer class exchanges. Refunds are only provided if the Art Center cancels the class.
