Oil Painting w/ Elizabeth Northcut Williams - 4 weekly sessions (Session 2)

Each four-week workshop is designed for students with any level of painting

experience. Elizabeth provides a nurturing environment for sharing material

techniques and design principles. Students will practice painting from life as well

as using their own photos for source material. All students mu proide their own materials. See materials list below.

Session 1: Mondays, August 19 and 26, Sep 9 and 16, 5:30-8pm

Session 2: Mondays, Sep 23 and 30, Oct 7 and 14, 5:30-8pm

A few pallet knives are good for mixing and paint application too

Painting surface suggestions:

Canvas Boards in a range of sizes 8”x10”—12”x16”

A pad of primed canvas

A roll of primed canvas or linen is also a great way to work…cut and taped to a painting board.
