Looking to do basic maintenance on your car but don't know where to start? This class will show you how to perform a basic oil change, along with other periodic vehicle maintenance.During this eyes-on, hands-on oil change on the instructor's vehicle, you'll learn about basic automotive components and tools, how to put a car up on ramps, and the fundamentals of an oil change and oil disposal. Instruction will also cover tire pressure, washer fluid, brake fluid, transmission fluid and battery check, as well as requirements for appropriate disposal of household hazardous waste.
Key safety information will be discussed at each step in the process, and protective gloves and safety glasses will be provided. A list of tools and procedures will be provided via email PDF.
