Oiche Cheoil: A Listening Night of Irish Music and Song

The first installment of our Irish Music Night was a huge success! Join us as we carry on with this new monthly happening!

Oiche Cheoil literally translates to Irish Music Night. This next edition will be packed with talent featuring one special guest plus three other performances and an open call for any musicians interested in sitting in.

This month we'll be featuring one of Philadelphia's most recognized Irish music artists, John Byrne. The Philadelphia-based Dublin native Byrne fronts the acclaimed John Byrne Band whose debut album, After the Wake, was released to critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. With influences ranging from Tom Waits to Planxty, John's songwriting honors and expands upon the musical and lyrical traditions of his native and adopted homes.

Black Squirrel Club offers a full bar with an excellent draft selection and delicious signature cocktails. We do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring your own or have it delivered once you arrive.

There is also free parking available at the Rivers Casino parking lot (3 blocks)
