Join us for the Ohio Scottish Games Harp Competition with Distinguished judge and workshop leader, Sharon KnowlesSpectators and competitors welcome. Competitors must be members of the Scottish Harp Society of America ($20/year). Sign up and view the competition rules at https://shsa.org/competitions/.
Separate to the SHSA membership, competitors must register to compete by June 13 - no field registrations accepted. https://ohioscottishgames.com/games/harp#
Registration provides the competitor with a Games pass for Saturday, June 27. Registered competitors will get in free on Friday, June 26 for Sharon Knowles' harp workshop.
Schedule for June 27, 2026 - subject to change:
8:30 Beginner and novice competitors, arrive to tune and set up
9:00 Harp Competition begins
12:00 Lunch break
1:00 Harp Competition reconvenes
2:00 Harp Showcase/Harp Circle
2:30 Awards
3:00 Try-a-Harp - open to the general public
On Friday, June 26 there will be a workshop taught by our judge, Sharon Knowles. Registered competitors will get into the fairgrounds free of charge for this workshop.
