Join First Church Arts as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Ohio Capital Winds with an afternoon of bold, brilliant music for concert band and organ. This milestone performance brings together one of central Ohio’s premier wind ensembles and the majestic organ of First Congregational Church for a program showcasing the power and color of these forces together.
The anniversary concert features an exciting mix of repertoire by Leonard Bernstein, John Philip Sousa, Julie Giroux, Malcolm Arnold, Arthur Sullivan, and Alfred Reed. From classic American marches to sweeping contemporary works, the program offers something for every listener and honors two decades of artistry from the Ohio Capital Winds.
Join us for this free event on Sunday, November 23 at 4:00 pm at First Congregational Church in downtown Columbus.
