The Ohio Association of Regional Councils (OARC) represents 24 regional agencies serving more than 1,500 municipalities, villages, townships, and counties across the state. These councils play a critical role in coordinating services, aligning regional priorities, and advancing efficient, collaborative solutions that strengthen Ohio communities.

Recognizing the profound impact state and federal policy decisions have on local governments, OARC is convening the 2026 Candidates Forum, a one-day event featuring Ohio’s gubernatorial and U.S. Senate candidates. Invited candidates will share their visions and policy priorities related to transportation, infrastructure, job creation, and economic development with an audience of the state’s leading political, business, and civic stakeholders.
