Ohio 211 Advocacy Day

You are invited to join United Way of Greater Cincinnati on Wednesday, Mar. 19, 2025, at the Ohio Statehouse for Ohio 211 Advocacy Day. We will come together with United Way volunteers, staff, and partners from around the state to advocate for 211 awareness and funding through the State budget.

A charter bus for this event leaves at 8 a.m. from United Way of Greater Cincinnati, 2400 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45202. We will arrive back in Cincinnati at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Annually, our 24/7 helpline receives tens of thousands of requests for help. United Way 211 team members assess needs and connect people to critical resources, including rent and mortgage assistance, utility bill support, employment services, help with transportation needs and more. 

At Ohio 211 Advocacy Day, you will have an opportunity to bring these issues face-to-face with members of the General Assembly and share your stories with them. You will also get a chance to learn about the policymaking process and network with other advocates from across the state.
