Oggy and the Cockroaches

Always in search of new challenges, the two French champions of beatbox and beatbox-loopstation SARO and ALEXINHO try their hand at dubbing and reinterpreting cartoons. With their strong experiences in beatboxing, they offer you a unique trip, all in music with live sound effects and good humour in the heart of the crazy universe of Oggy and the Cockroaches!

Synopsis of "Oggy and the Cockroaches"

Since the dawn of time, two forces have clashed in perpetual, total combat. A fight which we did not suspect existed despite its ferocity. This titanic shock, this ancestral struggle, this battle which lasts through the ages, is not that of good against evil ... it is that of Oggy against cockroaches!

SARO is recognized as an international reference of Beatbox-Loopstation, he juggles between electro, techno, trap and bass. His creations reflects the richness of his effects, his melodic lines and the energy that emerges from them.

ALEXINHO is a human beatbox phenomenon. Very young, he made a name for himself on different battles, until he won the prestigious title of world champion in 2018.

vOilah! France Singapore Festival returns from 3 November to 10 December 2021

Presented by the Embassy of France in Singapore, this year's festival is a "Feel Good" edition and will highlight the excellence, diversity and innovation that characterize France and Singapore's bilateral partnership, while also celebrating the spirit of joy and hope.

Over 50 programmes will celebrate the collaborations between our two countries - with a focus on culture, education, science and lifestyle - and will support, more than ever, the local cultural scene.

With a renewed commitment to sustainability, vOilah! 2021 aims to be the first zero-net festival in Singapore by offsetting carbon emissions and will present several engaging programmes addressing this critical issue.

- Admission is for fully vaccinated guests, or those who have tested negative for Pre-Event Testing (PET). Please see Advisory notes below for more details.

- All individuals are required to book and hold on to a valid ticket, including children 2 years and above (capped at 20% of the total audience size).

- Please book Child tickets for children in this age group of 2 to 12 years old.

• Verification will be done at the door, and strictly no admission for guests holding the wrong type of tickets.
• This is to ensure the number of children does not exceed 20% of the total audience size, in line with the government advisory.

- Admission is subject to ticket and proof of vaccination status at the entry.

- All guests are to arrive at least 30mins before the start of the programme to ensure sufficient time for admission.

- Ticket to Oggy and the Cockroaches does not include admission into Flower Dome.

Your well-being and safety are important to us. We seek for your cooperation in the following mandatory safe management measures.

- This event is for fully vaccinated guests only, or those who have tested negative for Pre-Event Testing (PET). Please see Advisory notes below for more details.

- All guests are required to use only the TraceTogether app or token for SafeEntry.

- Please keep a safe distance of at least 1m apart before, during and after the session.

- Keep your face masks on at all times and practice good personal hygiene.

- Free seating in the venue. However, all guests are required to stay seated at their selected seats.

- Permissible group size will be maximum of 2 fully vaccinated individuals.

• Unvaccinated children aged 12 years and below, of the same household, can be included within the group of 2.
• If there is one child and one fully vaccinated adult, the adult can be from a different household as the child.

- Adults bringing more than one child might be asked to provide proof that the children reside in the same household. This will be verified through the parents’ SingPass app.

- Food and drinks are not allowed in the venue at all times.

- No mingling is allowed in the venue.

In line with the prevailing Government mandatory safe management measures, Pre-Event Testing (PET) is compulsory for all guests attending Oggy and the Cockroaches, except for those who have completed the full vaccination against COVID-19*.

- Patrons who have yet to complete their vaccination must undergo PET at any of the Ministry of Health (MOH) Approved Test Providers, within 24 hours before the end of the session, at your own cost. On-site PET is not available for this event.

- Children aged 12 and below may be exempted from PET, and are allowed for admission (capped at 20% of total audience size)

*Full vaccination refers to:

• two weeks after the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty, Moderna or any COVID-19 vaccines under the World Health Organisation's (WHO) emergency use list
• recovered from a COVID-19 infection.

- Do bring along your negative PET test result notice, photo identification, and mobile device with updated TraceTogether (TT) app or token for SafeEntry check-in.
