Our friends at Boston Harbor Marina are providing a relaxing and beautiful setting for this special OFS fundraiser. Enjoy an afternoon of live music featuring award-winning blues harmonica player Joel Astley, blues guitarist Johnny Burgin, and local blues rock favorites Fishtrap, all set against breathtaking views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
Celebrate one last afternoon of outdoor summer music at the harbor while supporting the Olympia Film Society! All proceeds benefit OFS and its mission to present film, music, and art that engages our community, encourages volunteerism, and ensures the preservation of the Capitol Theater.
About Joel Astley
Seattle-based Joel Astley is a multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and harmonica player. He and his band have collected numerous accolades from the Washington Blues Society, among other regional and national societies. They deliver a high-energy, engaging show, blending sparkling originals with select classic cuts from roots rock, blues, funk, soul, Americana, and rockabilly. They tour regularly and have performed and/ or headlined many festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest. They are currently working on a new album and are set to record next month.
