About this Event
Mayan ceremonies are sacred rituals in ancient Mayan tradition. These ceremonies create spaces for participants to reconcile with themselves, transform negative energies, and make petitions for physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. On Sept 21st, we will work with the energy of Nawal No'j in the Tzolk'in calendar which represents wisdom, thought, and new ideas in the Mayan cosmovision.
The ceremony will be guided by Guatemaya Curandera Tz'ules, who skillfully creates sacred circles filled with profound love and boundless compassion. The ceremony offers a tranquil moment of peace, allowing participants to deeply reconcile with their inner being and embrace everything they represent in the universe. Join us to create an altar with flowers, seeds, feathers, and crystals to present your offerings to the Nawal No’j to amplify the sacred messages that enter our minds, transforming our reality.
Bring flowers and seeds as an offering to the altar!ABOUT ORENDA FESTOfrenda Fest Foundation is dedicated to creating meaningful spaces that bridge indigenous knowledge with urban communities in NYC, especially during Climate Week.
