Goal
OFFSCREEN is a project I started with the goal of bringing together people who share the same passion for films, yet still like to look beyond the story that unfolds on screen.
How does it work?
The idea is to choose films that make us think, that introduce us to new realities and, perhaps, that lead us to question things. Films that explore society, human behaviour, cultures and ideas - sometimes in unexpected or unconventional ways. We watch them at our own pace and then get together to discuss what we’ve seen and hear how others interpret the same story.
Beyond the Screen
I believe that a good film can be much more than just entertainment. It can teach us and challenge our way of thinking, open our eyes to things we might have otherwise not considered, and sometimes even change the way we perceive our own lives.
Good Films, Good Company
Last but not least, this film club is primarily about enjoying ourselves, getting together and creating a community where everyone feels welcome to share their opinions.
