It's that time of year again when we honor one of dance music's legacy cities with DJ Etta joining past guests of this Sunshine City meets Motor City experience — like Recloose, Kai Alce, the late Mike Huckaby, DJ Stingray, Keith Worthy, LADYMONIX, and Whodat — in celebrating the best in Detroit dance music here at home as well as International Women's Day. A DJ, writer, and avid record collector, DJ Etta sets take a free form approach, ranging from naughty boogie disco to enveloping house to classic, golden era hip-hop, mixed with a cohesive grace and effortless musicality. Two proponents of the Detroit sound in St. Pete, Rat Galactic and Austen van der Bleek will be warming up the night. We're excited to bring this experience to the forthcoming Suite E Studios, an intimate, indoor warehouse space in the Warehouse Arts District. As an Official Movement Pre-Party, ticket holders will be entered to win a pair of passes to this year's festival, known around the world as an annual pilgrimage to techno Mecca.
