Please join us for a celebration of the completion of the Carbondale Public Library's bookshelf mural on the Brush Building, made possible through a generous Healing Illinois grant. This project highlights the Library's commitment to "Racial Healing Sustainability," promoting unity and understanding within our community. Please join us next Wednesday, July 10 at 4pm for a chance to meet the artists and check out the mural.The mural, created by the talented Artist Maddie Deiters of ThreeLine Art, features a selection of books chosen with the community's help, reflecting Carbondale's rich diversity. Deiters' hard work and artistic vision, along with the help of her talented team Deanna Deiters and Jamarr McZeke, brought the mural to life.
