Dust off those wide-brimmed hats and sharpen those bowties! On May 2nd, the spirit of Issac Burns Murphy is galloping straight into the heart of the city for an afternoon of high-stakes style and high-energy vibes.

Whether you’re a horse racing fanatic or just here for the Mint Juleps and the fashion, The Kentucky Derby Experience at the WELLSEY is the only place to be when the gates open.

This isn’t just a viewing party—it’s a full-throttle day party. We’re taking over the WELLSEY for a seamless indoor/outdoor experience that captures the prestige and excitement of the "Greatest Two Minutes in Sports."

🍹 The Golden Hour (3pm–4pm): Kick things off with a One-Hour Open Bar sponsored by REMY MARTIN featuring our signature Derby-themed cocktails. Get there early—the first pour is on us!

🎶 The Soundtrack: We’re turning up the heat with DJ Mike Saunders and DJ Jay iLLa spinning the best tracks to keep the energy electric from the first race to the final stretch.

📸 Capture the Moment: Step into our onsite photobooth to immortalize your Derby drip. If you didn’t take a photo, did the fascinator even happen?

🍴 Southern Flavors: The kitchen will be open all day, serving up delicious bites to keep you fueled for the festivities.

Themed attire is strongly encouraged (though not required). We want to see the bold, the bright, and the beautiful! We will be hosting our legendary Bowtie & Fascinator/Hat Contest, where the most dapper and daring will be crowned on stage.
