Off the Menu Supper Club

We’ll be frank, the Texas Food & Wine Alliance took a significant hit when our Live Fire! fundraiser was rained out on April 6. As a leanly operating nonprofit, we rely on our large events to fund critical programs like our Culinary Grant Program and our free Culinary Arts Career Conference for Texas high school students. Luckily, our friends in the Austin restaurant industry have stepped up to bring a ray of sunshine and ensure we meet our goals for the coming year.

Four of the city’s most acclaimed chefs are banding together to help us introduce a new dining concept — the Off the Menu Supper Club. The delectable new series invites Texas’ most dazzling culinary talent out of the restaurant kitchen to cook over open flame at unique locations across Texas.

Off the Menu kicks off on June 8 at Camp Mabry with a tribute to the American chophouse. Acclaimed chefs Berty Richter (Ezov); Jakub Czyszczon (Garrison); Laura Sawicki (Oseyo); and Michael Fojtasek (Olamaie and Maie Day) will celebrate the elegance of midcentury dining with classic cocktails provided by Jessica Sanders (DrinkWell). Guests will feast in luxury under the stars while enjoying fine wines by Robert Mondavi, Duckhorn Vineyards, and DAOU and spirits by Tito's Handmade Vodka and High West Distillery.
