At the heart of the show is Serena’s breakout character “Aunty Wanda”—a no-holds-barred, loud-mouthed aunty inspired by her unapologetic, truth-telling mama back home. Aunty Wanda doesn’t take her meds, and she doesn’t take any mess either. She’s single, she’s spicy, and she’s got stories about her nieces, nephews, and exes that’ll have you laughing like you’re at the family reunion cookout with a flask in your purse.
