Off-Camera Flash 101 | Cleveland, OH
About this Event
Using your camera’s built-in flash can be great for filling in shadows, but that’s just the beginning of what flash photography can do.
Instead of “flattening” your subject with direct light, instructor Mat Marrash will walk you through a few simple steps to take your flash off-camera and create more flattering, dynamic lighting.
Learn how changing the direction, position, and quality of your light can transform an ordinary shot into something more polished and professional.
From smartphones all the way up to pro interchangeable-lens cameras, there’s nothing like learning to control and shape light to bring your creative vision to life. Whether you’re new to off-camera flash or looking to expand your lighting skills, this class will help you see flash in a whole new way.
💡Featured demo gear: Godox flash, Sekonic light meters, Kupo grip
Whether you’re completely new to off-camera flash or want to refine your skills, this workshop will give you the confidence to shape light and bring your creative vision to life.
