The singers of Canticus invite you to an afternoon of transcendent a cappella early choral music. The program will focus on three timely themes: harvest, music (our concert falls on the Feast Day of St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music!), and an early peek at the Advent and Christmas seasons. We will sing pieces by the Renaissance´s most prominent composers, including Palestrina, Victoria, Byrd, and Lobo, plus a variety of equally compelling works.
Kick off your holiday season early! The concert starts at 3:00 pm, Sunday, November 22, 2026, at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church at 601 Montaño Rd. NW, just west of the intersection of Montaño and 4th Street. Refreshments will follow the performance. The concert is free, but cash donations are gratefully accepted.
If you would like more information or want to be added to our email list for future concerts, please contact us at [email protected].
Canticus is a select early music choral ensemble under the direction of Alfredo Beltrán.
