📣 Oei is happy to present a concert & release of 2 new cassettes:
Lava Lik by Jonathan Poliart (OEI19)
Poliart went back to basics, reducing the amount of layers to a minimum, searching for a soft and calmly evolving sound.
The spaces in between the layers of textures, melodies and melodica introduces the notion of breath and respiration.
Lava lik brings together experimental and improvisational elements with complementary melodies and acoustic elements into a meditative and contemplative atmosphere.
Jonathan Poliart's other projects include: Sublyme Diagonal, martiensgohome, SOJA POVA, The paint and works together as a duo with Roger 3000.

The music on this album was created as part of the audio tour for the new museum, Abby Kortrijk.
It serves to support the narrative, which focuses on the past and the present of the exhibition space.
For the concert, he tried to replicate some of the songs, but it turned into something new.
Reassembling and recycling recordings, from toys and eastern instruments to unfinished material, into a jungle and dreamlike mind voyage.
Lieven has released solo music as Mist, Kingstux and engages in collaborations like 30MO and KIF.
