Welcome to the Odell Onslaught: a trail running event in which your legs will have to carry you for up to 4 hours on the trails of Odell Park in Fredericton.We will run loops on both single track and main trail, but we'll have to take the condition of the single track in consideration, because we don't want to ruin it. To be reviewed closer to the event.
This is an ideal event for those who are training for an ultra-marathon later this year. You can stop once you have had your fill, but you can only participate when you start at 10AM sharp.
The winner will obviously enough be the one that get most laps in, but the only thing he/she wins is eternal fame.
There are no fees, no prizes, no insurance; it is just you and your trail running buddies getting as many laps in as possible in 4 hours. Each lap is about 5 kilometers.
There is a public washroom close to the start of the loop and the parking lot is about 150 meters away.
If you choose to run with a dog, you have to keep it on leash all the time.
