Hailing from the East Bay, Oddity is a multi-faceted musician and songwriter seeking refuge in the intersections of jazz, hip-hop and neo-soul. Her experience as a transgender woman of color is inextricably woven into her music: at once an affirmation of life, a dissociative lament, a vengeful anthem, a desperate cry for change. At an ideal session Oddity would chef up a progression over a laid back beat, improvise a hook, let the band vibe for a minute before returning with a brooding trombone solo.

Briget is currently in production for her third solo album with the working title "Heartbreak Residue." The album is due out in late 2022.
