This October's Water Dance is guided by Douchka, and co-hosted with Brigitte at her pool sanctuary in Plano.
Join us in sacred ceremony and celebration as we honor the living Waters — ocean, sea, river, lagoon — and, for this gathering, the welcoming embrace of a warm, saltwater pool. Water is the Great Mother: nurturing and fierce, soft and powerful, inviting us into deep surrender, embodied expression, and the bliss of formlessness.
Despite its name, Water Dance is not what you might expect. This is not performance or choreography. It is a slow, meditative journey — a floating and underwater slow movement (with nose clip on) where all senses dissolve into fluid awareness. A space of weightlessness and communion, where you meet yourself and others in pure presence, beyond form or words.
Our ritual begins on land with a introduction, guidance on the flow of the practice, and a sacred opening circle to set individual and collective intentions. From there, we enter the healing waters with reverence — a return to the Primal Womb of Existence — to move, float, and feel our way into freedom. We complete our journey with a nourishing integration: a guided landing, group sharing, and closing circle in the Water.
