Bring your cell phones for a working session with Akron's 311 system. Billed as Akron's "One Call to City Hall," the 311 app and phone system allows residents to submit requests for tall grass/weeds, sanitation services, housing issues and more.
First, get a hands-on tutorial about how to download and use the 311 app and follow a service request through the back-end system with Akron's Chief Technology Manager Darren Rozenek.
Then, hear how the 311 call center works with Customer Service Representative Carla Brown.

As always, our APD Community Engagement Officer will be there, too, to address your safety concerns.
Pizza will be provided. Feel free to bring a dessert or side dish to share.
