Join us for the final Poetluck of the 2025 season! We’re closing out the year with a special evening featuring acclaimed poet Alicia Swain, author of Steel Slides and Yellow Walls (2025).Swain’s work has appeared in Vast Chasm, The Vehicle, and more—her poetry is sharp, feminist, and fierce, weaving nature and the human experience with unapologetic fire. As reviewer Tessa Klein writes:
“Swain’s metaphors are taut as piano wire, her structure sharp and unadorned, and her voice—most gloriously of all—angry. And what a relief that is.”
