Celebrate our return to in-person monthly meeting at a new location: Japanese Community Hall, 210 E. Elm St., Lodi, CA. Doors open at 6:30 on October 13. Club business at 7pm. Presentation at 7:30.
Our guest speaker will be Orvis Endorsed Fly-Fishing Guide, Capt. Mark Pinto. His presentation is titled, "Fly Fishing the Central Valley" which covers the Stanislaus, Calaveras, Mokelumne, American, Yuba and Feather Rivers along with Putah Creek and the Delta. This is a program that was done at the I.S.E show in Sacramento in the Fly Fishing Theater. Mark grew up in Manteca and has been a resident of Stockton since 1982. After fishing our local waters, up to over 250 days per year, Mark started "Home Waters Guide Service" in 1984. He later started guiding the Delta in 1992. The presentation will include a question-and-answer session at the end, so bring your questions on technique and tactics!
