After a short run-through of business, we'll have two fun things to attend to:
- MUG RUG EXCHANGE: Have you started yet? We're doing a fun exchange--at the meeting, please bring a mug rug. The challenge is to take a traditional block and modernize it in a mug rug (think about 6x8"). And the theme is Halloween/autumn. I've written up an explanation in the blog on our website here. I've also found great ideas and created a board on our snazzy new Pinterest page. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
- SHOW AND TELL: Show us what you're working on! Seeing a work in progress is so much fun, and so inspiring, and one of the things I love as a creator, and as a former teacher, is seeing how ideas grow and change and go from inside a person's head to a finished product. I can't wait to see what everyone is working on. And if you just finished something and you're not onto the next project yet, bring that fresh finish and show that off!
