Endeavor is excited to welcome our Featured Speaker for October: Amy Sexson, Destroyer Media! Enjoy a delicious lunch and learn from her on Friday, October 15, at the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce.
Amy Sexson is the co-owner of Destroyer Media & Marketing, Editor of Haven & LKLD Magazines and co-creator of the Winter Haven Farmers Market. She has held the Florida Magazine Association Gold Charlie Award for Social Media for 3 years, while also obtaining 5 Charlie Awards for Design & Photography. Her work has recently been published in the New York Times and she's currently President of the board for Girl’s Inc. of Winter Haven.
"Keeping an Open Mind"
Amy will talk about how she moved to Florida with very different plans in mind, how she eventually ended up at Haven Magazine and how to stay open-minded when plans go drastically awry. She will also discuss why she feels that it is important to stay curious, ask questions, keep a sense of humor and to visualize what you want your life to be.
