Just a little reminder that **October’s Life Skills Café will be on a special day and time!** 💙
📅 **Monday, October 19th**
⏰ **11:00 AM–12:30 PM**
📍 **Moncus Park**
We’re moving our October class from our usual last Monday because the kids will be **out of school for break**—and with Halloween just around the corner, we thought it was the perfect time for some important **PARK & PERSONAL SAFETY** lessons! 🎃🌳
This month, we’ll combine a little **picnic fun 🧺** with some BIG life skills:
🧠 **Stranger Danger & Personal Safety**
🚨 What to do if someone you don’t know approaches you
🐕 **Dog Safety** — why we NEVER approach or pet a dog without asking permission
🌳 Staying safe while enjoying parks and community spaces
👀 Learning how to recognize situations that may not be safe
💬 Practicing what to say and what to do when we need help
And, of course, we’ll make learning **hands-on, fun, and engaging!** Our goal is to give participants practical tools they can use in the real world while building confidence and independence.

Because knowing how to stay safe is an important life skill—and learning it while having fun makes it even better! 💙
