October First Thursday

Join us in the Consulate's new offices on the morning of 2 October for the next instalment of our breakfast networking series.

These events will take place on the first Thursday of every month, bringing together the Irish and international communities here in Frankfurt to catch up on the latest news in the city, from the Consulate and the Irish community. All are welcome, including those who are visiting or have just arrived in Frankfurt!

This month, our guest speaker will be Derville Rowland, Executive Board Member at the Anti-Money Laundering Authority. Prior to her appointment to this position in May 2025, Derville was Deputy Governor at the Central Bank of Ireland where she had responsibility for consumer and investor protection, capital markets and funds, enforcement and financial integrity including anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial sanctions. She was previously a board member of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). Before her tenure at the Central Bank of Ireland, Derville practiced as a barrister in the UK.

We look forward to chatting with old friends and new over coffee and breakfast at our new home in Neue Mainzer Strasse 1. Admission is from 7:45 and the event will begin at 8:00
