October First Friday Networking Breakfast

Join us for our monthly 'First Friday' networking breakfast, which on Friday, October 3 will feature an enchanting morning where the veil between worlds grow thin and the ancient Irish traditions come to life. Our featured storyteller, Susan Davey, will transport us back to the Irish roots of Halloween, sharing captivating tales of Samhain’s rich historical significance.

Susan Davey is an actress, historian, and storyteller from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Through her venture Hearth, she uses history and story to celebrate Irish culture and connect communities with folklore, mythology, and contemporary storytelling. Hearth creates spaces for gathering, where stories and voices can be shared. Susan joins us to welcome October as we remember the Irish origins of Halloween!

The breakfast will provide an opportunity to catch up on the latest community news, and chat with old friends and new. We also welcome those visiting or just arrived from Ireland who are seeking an introduction to the community here in New York.
