October Family Engagement Network Meeting

Our October Family Engagement Network Meeting will be a Commerical Sexual Exploitation of Children (or CESEC) training provided by Selah Freedom.

Through this training, adults will leave with a greater understanding of the realities of trafficking, its root causes, how to identify victims, and how to take action. This training is beneficial in educating anyone working with youth on the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC)

Participants of this training, will gain an understanding of the following:

• What human trafficking is

• Root causes of victimization

• Risk factors of exploitation

• Online traps and manipulation tactics

• How to identify the signs of a trafficker

• Factors that fuel the demand

• Tips on engaging in healthy dialogue

Our October Family Engagement meeting will be offered hybrid. Both In-Person and via Zoom. Due to the sensitivity of this training, we strongly encourgae particpants to attend in-person. Because we want to encourage atteendees to come in person, this event is being held at Morton College to safely accommodate attendees.
