Please join us to hear Andy Dickerson, Executive Director of Cardinal Land Conservancy, tell us about the Conservancy’s plans to transform a vacant 7-acre lot at Marshall and McMicken Avenues into a conservation and sustainability hub. The site will restore natural habitats, create space for community gardens, and host environmental programs in partnership with local groups, including the Civic Garden Center and Adventure Crew.Restoring this property will be central to the organization’s larger vision of protecting more natural spaces in neighborhoods disproportionately affected by pollution and climate change, especially near schools.
Meeting will be held at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church in the Geier Room. Free parking behind church. Meet at greet begins at 6:30, and program will begin at 7:00.
