Lavender Heights stands as a vibrant landmark celebrating Sacramento’s rich LGBTQ+ history. Officially designated in 2015, the district is home to iconic venues like the Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Community Center (est. 1983), plus several LGBTQ+-owned businesses and nightlife spots—making it a cultural cornerstone for our community.
*This month, all proceeds will go toward funds that help keep the district clean and updated, including the street sign toppers and, yes, the beloved rainbow sidewalk. Your generosity helps preserve these vibrant markers of pride and identity in Lavender Heights.
