Join us every Thursday in October for a hands-on creative learning adventure! Each week combines art, science, history, storytelling, engineering, and imagination in a relaxed homeschool environment.
And there’s a special goal throughout the month…
🏛️ Every project becomes part of our Ona SweetSoul Homeschoolers Museum!
Kids will create, learn, collect their work, and then help curate our final museum experience on October 29.

Vintage Lace Ghosts
Science • Engineering • Art
Explore mixtures, ratios, evaporation, balance and structural design while creating a freestanding lace ghost.
📓 Thursday, October 8
11 AM–1 PM
Spooky Stories Between the Pages
Halloween Junk Journals
Language Arts • Storytelling • Mixed Media
Create a handmade journal filled with mysterious maps, characters, stories, letters and creative discoveries.

Color Chemistry
Halloween Art Lab
Science • Color Theory • Art
Experiment with color mixing, absorption, separation and simple reactions before creating a Halloween-inspired artwork.

Creepy-Cute Textile Creatures
From Scraps to Spooky Art

Turn fabric, felt, yarn and recycled materials into imaginative creatures.

History • Research • Curating • Presentation
Explore the history behind seasonal traditions, folklore and mysterious historical stories, then become a Junior Museum Curator and help bring our entire October collection together!

We’ll display the projects created throughout the month and let our young curators share their creations.
