October Chapter Chasers Book Club

Join the Chapter Chasers for our next book adventure! On the third Sunday of each month, we invite kids ages 6-8 to chat about our hidden gem early chapter book, have some fun reading aloud, then get creative with a related activity!

Join us this month in discussing The Secret Explorers and the Lost Whales by SJ King!

If you love learning interesting facts, an action-packed story, or the Magic Tree House series, you will love this month’s pick where the Secret Explorers get a mission to help save a pod of humpback whales!

Chapter Chasers Book Club is made for emerging readers (6-8) chasing the thrill of reading their first chapter books! We encourage both independent reading and family read-alouds for Chapter Chasers. The goal of this book club is to get kids excited about books and reading, to encourage their self-identity as readers, and to foster community and social learning through a love of books!

Parents are welcome to stay on the Junior side and participate or browse the adult side. Parents of children 12 and younger must remain on-site.
