For October, we will get in the spirit of Halloween and discuss Dracula by Bram Stoker. Since the book is in the public domain, there are numerous versions of it – print, electronic, and audio. Various editions in print and electronic may contain illustrations or additional commentary and criticism. I have been told that there are some well done audio versions done as podcasts or audiobooks. This is all to say, length may vary, depending on what version you get.
"When Jonathan Harker visits Transylvania to help Count Dracula with the purchase of a London house, he makes a series of horrific discoveries about his client. Soon afterwards, various bizarre incidents unfold in England: an apparently unmanned ship is wrecked off the coast of Whitby; a young woman discovers strange puncture marks on her neck; and the inmate of a lunatic asylum raves about the 'Master' and his imminent arrival."
Also, October is dues month. Donations are optional but appreciated, and first timers are under no obligation.
