About the Bible Parallel Project:
Ever get confused about scripture? Ever wonder how God's word can play a role in our lives? Newman Centre Catholic Mission is happy to announce the Bible Parallel Project. Student participants are invited to take a closer look at scripture with opportunities to pray together as a community and read reflections about scripture by some of Newman's guest contributors.
This year, we reflect on the various parables that Jesus Christ preached and how it draws a parallel into our own personal lives. For the month of October, we will be reflecting on the Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:1-7). We welcome our guest speaker, Fr. Matthew McCarthy, Director of the Office of Vocations in the Archdiocese of Toronto. We also welcome our guest worship band, Steadfast Worship.
