On October 6, we will welcome Logan Wright to discuss his new book Broken China: How the Economic Miracle Shattered and What it Means for the World. In the book, Wright argues that China's economy has "hit the wall" due to lack of long-term economic planning as well as structural issues with the financial system. His insights hold significant implications for policy makers who will be engaging China.
Wright is a partner at Rhodium Group and a Senior Associate of the Trustee Chair of Chinese Business and Economics at CSIS. His work focuses on China’s financial system and credit conditions in shaping outcomes within China’s economy, as well as the policies of China’s central bank. He holds a Ph.D. from The George Washington University.
