October 2026 Monthly Guild Meeting - Making Stitch Markers

Do you love the look of pretty stitch markers but not the cost? Do you find ones you like that don't fit your work - rings too small, or you need clips because you crochet? Would you like to trade stitch markers that are more interesting than plastic safety pin styles? Do you want to make "cast on markers" and row markers? Does it all cost just too much to have the ones you want?
Learn how to make stitch markers from easily-found supplies, which can be used for knitting or crochet. You can make a series of markers using beads or charms, so bring a few favourites.
COST: $5 for supplies for members; $10 for non-members.
Don't forget to bring a current or recently-finished project for the show-and-tell portion of our meeting.
DATE CHANGE from August because the Craft Center was closed on our usual date and the teacher was not available on the alternative.
TFG ANNUAL DUES: Regular dues are $20 per year, no discounts.
