Overview:
It’s that time of year to take care of our little piece of Idaho, (ok, adopted piece of Idaho, but you know what I mean), enjoy a great drive, hang out with awesome friends, make new awesome friends, all while seeing some beautiful parts of Idaho! (oh, and you get to walk along the side of the highway, and have people driving by wonder if you’re part of a “work-release” program) – Time for the Cleanup of our Adopted section of Hwy 21, and we’ll do the Lowman Loop this year!

Date & Times:
Saturday October 1st, 2022
Meetup: 9:30 am
Driver’s meeting at 9:55 am
Mount up and head out at 10:00 am
Arrive at for lunch at Two Rivers Grille around 11:00 am.
Meet-up:
We will meet up at our favorite gathering place, Kleiner Park.
The Cruise:
For those of you familiar with "The Loop", we are going clockwise. We'll head up Eagle, and right on State Street (Hwy 55) and take the big left turn to follow Hwy 55 up into the mountains! We'll head up past Horseshoe Bend, and at Banks will take a right on Banks Lowman Road (route 17). We'll turn left on S Middlefork Rd and stop at Two Rivers for some lunch.
I mention this below, but just to be sure, please mark yourself as going and comment here with how many people you will have with you. (Also, please just respond in one of the places this is posted, so I can get a headcount for Two Rivers Grill. Thanks!)

I’ll try to get in and order my lunch first, eat quickly then head out early to go past our cleanup spot to Idaho City and pick up the supplies in my truck, then head back to the cleanup. The rest of you will leisurely take your time heading out, and hopefully find a good pull over location along the river for a photo opp or two. (To give me the time I need).
We'll continue east to Lowman, then turn right on Ponderosa Pines Scenic Route (Hwy 21). Our section is milepost 52-54. I will meet you there with signs, vests, bags and claw picker-upper things. Please bring heavy gloves and appropriate shoes.
Depending on how many people we have it should take about 45 minutes, give or take, to get our part of the highway all nice and purdy again! We'll then head on down to Idaho City.
As it turns out, it is again the same weekend as the "Idaho City Days"! Any people that want to stop and take part in their celebrations are welcome to stop, and the rest that don't want to stop can just keep on heading down the mountain. We'll disperse once we get back to civilization just past Lucky Peak.
