During this workshop students will be building their own octagon picnic table. This table design refined by Wade seats 8 but is remarkably light, and the best part, no tipping over when one person gets up!
WE ARE RUNNING THIS AS A SOFT LAUNCH THIS FALL. What this means is we want to run a “trial” workshop to figure out format, timing, and other aspects before we run a full course next Summer. Students participating in this Soft Launch Workshop will be taking this workshop for the cost of materials only – providing a deep discount! However, this means that there’s a possibility that students won’t finish their table within the timing of the class and it may not run as smoothly as our other classes. If students do not finish their table within the allotted time frame we will make ourselves available to make sure the tables are finished.
This course includes 4 classes taking place across two weekends. Oct 25 & 26 and Nov 8 & 9, 10 – 4pm. $475, students will be leaving with a picnic table and the pattern to make additional tables. $475
