Schedule

UTC-06:00Location
West Valley Performing Arts Center | West Valley City, UT

By Eric Coble
Edgar Allan Poe stands alone in the flickering darkness of his mind, trying desperately to convince himself — and us — that he’s not mad. The spell he weaves brings us a highly theatrical adaptation of four tales Poe himself considered his best: “The Raven,” “The Fall of the House of Usher,” “The Pit and the Pendulum,” and “The Tell-Tale Heart.” Enter the world of Poe and check your heartbeat at the door.
Just in time for the Halloween season, playwright Eric Coble and West Valley Arts will take audiences on the haunting journey through the twists and turns of Poe's mind in an eerie production that promises to tingle your spine and quicken a few hearts.

Theater Enjoyment Guide:
Switch OFF your cell phone – Under no circumstances should you ever text, take pictures, or video during a show.
Savor your snacks quietly (or not at all)! If you have to unwrap cough drops or treats from intermission, please enjoy them QUIETLY to avoid disturbing others. Theaters are designed to amplify sound, so even the smallest noise can be heard far and wide.
Activate Silent or Theater Mode on your watch to prevent it from lighting up and diverting attention from the performance.
Keep conversations for intermission or after the show to preserve the ambiance for everyone.
Positive vibes only within the theater vicinity! It’s lovely to share constructive feedback once outside and away from the theater.
Dress code follows the unwritten rule of "the more you pay, the fancier you may dress," with Broadway being the delightful exception. Feel free to dress comfortably for your day's plans.
