Oct. 21 Franklin Tomorrow Breakfast With the Mayors

Franklin Tomorrow's final Breakfast With the Mayors for 2025 has a new date and location. On Oct. 21, join us at The Factory's Liberty Hall for this final installment of 2025, featuring a chance to talk with friends, neighbors and others about the importance of building a healthy democracy.

Breakfast With the Mayors is presented quarterly in collaboration with Pinnacle Financial Partners and Gresham Smith serving as presenting partners. Additional support comes from our sustaining partners, Atmos Energy; Ragan Smith, a Pape-Dawson company; and Atmos Energy.

Early in 2025, Franklin and Franklin Tomorrow were selected by the National Civic League as one of two cities in the country for the "Healthy Democracy" project. The goal of the project is to build the skills of civic leaders and citizens and equip them with the tools to address important civic challenges through inclusive civic engagement.

Through surveys and other meetings, Franklin Tomorrow has identifed three themes for continuing the work on building a healthy democracy. Those three themes are Youth Engagement & Leadership; Civic Awareness & Engagement; and Community Infrastructure & Public Services.

Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson and Franklin Mayor Dr. Ken Moore will give brief remarks at the start of the meeting and then we will have small group dialogues and report out from our roundtable discussions.

The public is invited to attend this free event, with breakfast from Catering & Events by Suzette.
