OCP PhotoStroll: Morning Light & Shadows
About this Event
Not your typical photo class. OCP PhotoStrolls are intentional, hands-on 2-hour mini-workshops built for photographers who want to slow down, sharpen their visual timing, and practice seeing light differently.
Whether you shoot film, digital, or a smartphone, all cameras and skill levels are welcome. Capped at 15 attendees to ensure everyone gets space, community connection, and 1-on-1 time.
WHAT WE’LL DO
- 00:00 – 00:15 | Arrival & Briefing: Meet at Flatiron Plaza, grab your name/IG handle sticker, and review our creative prompts for the morning.
- 00:15 – 01:15 | Guided Shooting: Work through prompts focused on morning light pockets, low-angle shadow geometry, and single-shot anticipation.
- 01:15 – 01:40 | Route Transition: Practice on the move as we head south toward Washington Square Park.
- 01:40 – 02:00 | Back-of-Camera Review: Wrap up with a low-key group image review to share favorite frames and talk through what worked.
