Ocker is a roving circus adventure that transforms public space into a stage, inviting audiences to follow an unpredictable chase through Commonwealth Reserve, Williamstown. Presented as part of Melbourne Fringe Festival.
Part performance, part absurd expedition, Ocker sees a troupe of circus artists laying a portable railway track in real time as they race after something perpetually just out of reach. Weaving through crowds, around trees and across open spaces, the performers create a constantly evolving experience where no two journeys are the same.
✨ About Na Djinang Circus ✨
Based in the western suburbs of Naarm (Melbourne), Na Djinang Circus is a First Nations-led contemporary circus company creating bold works that tour nationally and internationally.
Deeply informed by Indigenous Cultural knowledges and ways of being, their work elevates Blak Australian circus, fostering new practices, works and futures through research, articulation and agitation.

Ocker is presented in partnership between Hobsons Bay City Council and Maribyrnong City Council as part of Fringe Westside.
This is a free event and bookings are not required. All ages welcome.
